Hi, I’m Kinga, and I live in Windermere.
I came to this beautiful part of the world as during 3 months travelling around Europe….and that was 16 years ago 🙂
I absolutely fell in love with the Lake District, its fells, and the wonderful local community.
From a young age I’ve always been enthusiastic, curious, and full of energy. I loved drawing, painting, cycling, and going on adventures. Creativity and the outdoors have always been a huge part of who I am, and I’ve always believed in giving my very best in everything I do.
Running however, was one thing I never imagined I would fall in love with.
After completing my first marathon (the Windermere Marathon in 2023) I realised that nothing is impossible. That experience showed me that we’re all capable of so much more than we often believe.
Today, I am incredibly proud to be part of the Brathay 10 in 10 Challenge, raising money to support young people. There are simply no words to describe how happy, grateful, and privileged I feel to be part of this amazing journey. Every step is about so much more than running—it’s about making a difference, inspiring others, and proving that with determination, courage, and support, extraordinary things really are possible.
