My name is Garry Barnes and this year I will be taking part in my third Brathay 262 event in July 2021.
Brathay is a fantastic charity and the event is amazing, having completed it in 2019 and 2020 I just couldn’t resist another 10 laps.
I have seen first hand the impact Brathay Trust has on the lives of disadvantaged children & young people and I wanted to do my bit to help.
I have been cycling forever and do recall many happy years on a Raleigh Chopper bike as a kid.
My main experience with cycling is taking part in a number of Sportive’s and Audax Rides across the UK. The cycling community is a great community to be part of.
