Martin Wardley
Brathay 262 Rider
Having moved to Cumbria two years ago and having rediscovered the roads in both this and neighbouring counties (between our bouts of lockdown) I wanted to give something back. It seems to me that some of those most affected by the pandemic will be young people - particularly the disadvantaged.
When I came across Brathay Trust and what they do this felt like the right cause to support. 262 miles feels a tad stiff for both me and the machine, but if I can cycle it then you can dig a little deeper and make a donation. And you will have my huge appreciation!! I do this too for those I've lost over the past few years. The young....the bike.... the outdoors - it all seems so fitting. Thanks xx
