Brathay 10in10 2023
It turned into a very warm day for running the second lap of England's largest lake...but all 16 of this year's 10in10 runners completed Day 2.
Paul Davies again finished first with a 3.50.14 marathon, closely followed by Jon Drake in 3.52.11. Tasmin Sharley was first female again, and 6th overall, in 4.14.32.
It was a sociable run at the back of the field with Andy Rennie, Davey Green and Samantha Morris all running close together.
Support on the course was great today and it was lovely to be joined by some of the runners' families at the finish line. The big challenge for the runners was the heat (getting close to 20 degrees) and staying hydrated.
All the team are now resting and looking forward to another lap of Windermere tomorrow….
