Day 4 - 26 October

Brathay 10in10 2020

Another inspirational day of running on the stunning Windermere Marathon course today. Everyone home….but not dry! Heavy rain was again a feature of the day, adding to the challenge of running 262 miles over 10 days.

Darren Jenness was again first back in 3:24:18 making it four wins out of four. Rachel Masser recorded her third second place finishing in 3:41:30.

104.8 miles of running over 4 days is now starting to show. The fantastic support provided by Third Year students from University of Cumbria’s Sport Rehabilitation programme, supervised by Dr Katie Walker-Small, is the key to getting to the start line each day with the best chance of running another marathon. As well as their excellent sports rehab skills the students also provide an essential boost to everyone’s morale.

Day 5 beckons….
