Christmas Pudding 10k

Before the event

Entries will close on Wednesday 5 December 2018, or when entries reach the maximum number of 900, whichever comes first.
You will receive email confirmation of your entry and further emails with useful information and training tips. Please also check this website regularly for further information.
You will receive your race pack shortly before the event. You will need to collect your timing chip and race number when you register at Sticklebarn before the race.
As stated in our Terms and Conditions and as per UKAA rules and regulations, the right to participate in the event is highly individual and as such entries and race numbers are non-transferable. We may be able to defer entries in certain circumstances, please contact us with your request.
If participants wish to cancel their entry they need to contact the Brathay Running team. We are unable to offer refunds or deferrals in case of cancellation. Please contact the Brathay Running team here.

During the event

Car parking is available in the Great Langdale valley close to the event centre. There are three car parks:1. National Trust event field: £5 2. National Trust Pay & Display car park: £6 upto 4hrs; £7 all day 3. Lake District National Park Pay & Display car park: £6 upto 4hrs; £8 all day.
There are no changing facilities or bag storage facilities available.
The race will start at 12.00am.
The time limit for completion of the course is 2hrs 30mins. Runners must pass through Elterwater before 1hr 30mins.
Yes – the sweep vehicle will follow at 15 minute mile pace (1hr 35mins total time).
There will be a refreshment station at Elterwater - 5k. There will be 330ml bottle of water with sports caps & High5 Zero electrolyte sports drinks available. There will be litter bins positioned a short distance after the refreshment station for you to dispose of any water bottles and/or cups/wrappers. Please make use of these.

After the event

No facilities are available at the event centre.
The awards ceremony will be at Sticklebarn beginning at 2:00pm. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the race winners as well as 1st and 2nd places in all age categories. Please note that only the 1st place prizes in each age category will be awarded at the awards ceremony, 2nd place prizes will be available to collect from Registration at Sticklebarn. A prize for the first local runner is also given to those living in the following postcodes: LA8, LA9, LA11, LA12, LA21, LA22, LA23. A full set of results will be available shortly after the race on the Brathay Challenges website and via post event newsletters and social media. All runners who complete the Christmas Pudding 10k will receive a....Christmas Pudding!
