Marathon rules and regulations

When entering the Christmas Pudding 10K all participants agreed to the event terms and conditions. We would particularly like to draw your attention to the below rules.

Unauthorised car support, bicycles, rollerblades and any other wheeled devices are not permitted on the course.

The wearing of headphones (in-ear or over), or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted. Runners can run with bone conducting headphones.

"Runners must not be accompanied by a personally owned or controlled dog in the race.

NOTE: Entries may be accepted from runners with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such; and subject to approval by the Race Director."

This is a direct extract from UK Athletics’ Competition Rules 2018-20 edition. If any runner is seen failing to comply with this rule, regrettably we will have to disqualify.
