Marathon rules and regulations
When entering the Langdale Marathon all participants agreed to the event terms and conditions. We would particularly like to draw your attention to the below rules.
“The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in races on any single carriageway road that is not wholly closed to traffic.”
This is a direct extract from UK Athletics’ Competition Rules 2020-22 edition. If any runner is seen failing to comply with this rule, regrettably we will have to disqualify.
