Please don’t fold or bend the chip.

Marathon rules and regulations

When entering the ASICS Windermere Marathon all participants agreed to the event terms and conditions. We would particularly like to draw your attention to the below rules.

Unauthorised car support, bicycles, rollerblades …. and any other wheeled devices are not permitted on the course.

“The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in races on any single carriageway road that is not wholly closed to traffic.”

This is a direct extract from UK Athletics’ Competition Rules 2016-18 edition. If any runner is seen failing to comply with this rule, regrettably we will have to disqualify.

The event terms and conditions can be found here.

If you have any questions make sure to take a look at the ASICS Windermere Marathon FAQ's.
