Looking out the window today you'd never guess it'd been a sunny weekend at Brathay Hall with cyclists from all over gathering to enjoy all things adventure. The Adventure Cycle Festival started on Friday afternoon with some riders assembling to ride to Brathay and others assembling at Brathay to go on a guided backpacking overnight adventure supported by EDS Bikes.

The Saturday began with riders heading out on the Ghyllside Shillied Gravel Challenge amongst other workshops and a whole assortment of demo bikes. As the day went on more and more cyclists arrived in anticipation of the arrival of adventure legend Mark Beaumont.

The event continued into Sunday with more workshops being provided courtesy of Cycling UK and Backcountry Scotland amongst many others and to top it all off we had a fully loaded hill climb.

We're looking forward to running the event again next year.
