ASICS Windermere Marathon Event Update
We have been working hard behind the scenes to establish what the ASICS Windermere Marathon will look like under the government’s COVID restrictions in May. We are planning for a socially distant version of the event to take place on the 23rd May subject to the government’s roadmap following its proposed timeline, and any further guidance from Run Britain. We are expecting further updates this week.
The event will look different from previous years; we must respect that the virus is still here and we have a duty to protect everyone involved. There will be strict social distancing in place and we will not be allowing spectators at the event centre. That said, we are still hoping for a fantastic event and are extremely excited to see runners once again on the Windermere Marathon course. Places will be limited to 800 so we encourage you to book to avoid disappointment.
We aim to share any updates relevant to the event through our usual channels and details about start times closer to the date.

We hope to see you there,
