Donations in Memory of Matt Campbell

Following on from the tragic and untimely death of Matt Campbell whilst running to raise funds for Brathay in the London Marathon, we have been overwhelmed by the donations received in his memory to support our work. At the time of writing pledges total over £100,000 largely on his JustGiving page.

We’re not a huge charity and this is a significant sum to us. So firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has donated, this is just amazing. It’s incredibly important to us that we can use this money in a way that maximises the number of young people we work with. We’ll be giving very careful thought as to how exactly to do this with Matt’s family to ensure that your generous support provides a fitting and lasting legacy.
