Brathay Cycling - Training Tips & Advice
Your first decision is which event - Belter Short, Medium, Long....or Brathay 262! It's important to be realistic in making this decision. If you've only been cycling for a few weeks it probably won't be a good idea to leap into 10 laps of Windermere....262 miles....in 24 hours! Our choice of cycling sportives provides something for everyone with clear progression as you gain experience and fitness.
The next decision when planning your training program is: Are you completing, competing or conquering? Again, it's important to be realistic - set an impossible aim and you’ll soon lose motivation.
